PieceMaker App enables you to slice pictures from Picture Library. You may add PieceMaker to SharePoint pages and specify Picture Libraries where you store slides.

PieceMaker is an AppPart which may be adde​d to any SharePoint page. To add PieceMaker AppPart to page you should:

1. Open the page where you want to add the AppPart, choose "Page" tab and click "Edit" button.

2. Go to "Insert" tab, click "AppPart" at the "Parts" group, choose "PieceMaker" and click "Add" button.

3. After PieceMaker is added to page, click ▼ at the top right corner of the AppPart and choose "Edit Web Part".

4. You may specify Width and Height parameters at the Appearance group.

5. At the App Settings group you may specify Picture Library and Autoslide interval (in milliseconds).

PieceMaker enables to specify multiple picture properties to define it's behaviour. To change default settings you should:

1. Go to Picture Library, specified at the PieceMaker properties.
2. Choose "Edit Properties" in the menu of picture whose settings you are going to change."

3. Last six properties define PieceMaker behaviour.
Step 1

  • Prepare - ammount of time (in seconds) during which Title is fading out;
  • Duration - ammount of time (in seconds) during which all transforms will be finished;
  • Delay - ammount of time to wait after starting current slice's transforms (before transform next slice);
  • Trend - vertical or horizontal orientation of slicing;
  • Slices - total number of slices;
  • Effects - transforms array which define how to transform slices before showing the next slide. This field may contain multiple transforms separated by ";". Each transform contains six parameters separated by ",":
    • Stretch - distance between slices (might be horizontal or vertical depending on Trend parameter);
    • Shift - shift slices by X or Y axis (depending on Trend);
    • Push - scale slices or sivt by Z axis (depending on browser perspective support);
    • X axis rotation - independent rotation by X axis if Trend is verical or dependent if horizontal;
    • Y axis rotation - dependent rotation by Y axis if Trend is verical or independent if horizontal;
    • Z axis rotation - dependent rotation by Z axis;
