Slider App enables you to slide pictures from Picture Library. You may add Slider to SharePoint pages and specify Picture Libraries where you store slides.​

HOW TO USE

Slider is an AppPart which may be added to any SharePoint page. To add Slider AppPart to page you should:

1. Open the page where you want to add the AppPart, choose "Page" tab and click "Edit" button.

2. Go to "Insert" tab, click "AppPart" at the "Parts" group, choose "Slider" and click "Add" button.

3. After Slider is added to page, click ▼ at the top right corner of the AppPart and choose "Edit Web Part".

4. You may specify Width and Height parameters at the Appearance group.

5. At the App Settings group you have to specify Picture Library with slides. Also you may change Autoslide interval (in milliseconds) and number of Previews.

FEATURES

Slider may open external links when you click at the slide. By default Picture Libraries don't have URL fields, so if you want Slider to open links, first​ you have to add this field to Picture Library. To do this you need:

1. Go to Picture Library, specified at the Slider properties.
2. Go to "Library" tab and click "Library Settings" button.

3. Click "Add from existing site columns" in "Columns" section.

4. Choose "URL" field from "Base Columns" group, click "Add" and "OK" buttons.

5. Now you may specify links to each slide at the Picture Library.
